Format - 2-Player Team Match Constructed

• Number of game wins necessary per Match: 1  
• Match Time: 90 minutes  
• Extra Time: 5 minutes (for extra turns, etc.) 

Tournament Structure - Swiss Rounds

(Swiss Rounds are played until there is an undefeated Pair in the Event.)

• 5-8 | 3 Rounds
• 9-16 | 4 Rounds

Important Note for when applying to a Store Buddy Battle

This event is primarily aimed at teams of two players. Players may apply solo, however please understand there‘s a chance you will be unable to play if you cannot find a partner at the event. Therefore, we recommend to apply with friends, family, etc.

There is a big change to the registration process for One Piece Store Buddy Battle 2023 Vol.2 compared with Vol.1 so please read carefully. As you are aware this is a pair event so participants need to be paired to play. One of the two members will be the team representative and apply as a team for application, etc. (Vol. 1 was 1 application for player.) Due to this change, we also changed the capacity for received application to the number of teams rather than players. On the event date if players misunderstood and both applied separately, operations can still be carried out easily by only scanning the barcode of the player who is the team representative. We are notifying players as well on TCG+ with the below. TCG+ only requires 1 application per pair, so please choose a member to be the representative. Only the representative needs to apply on TCG+. Event Period: August 25, 2023 - September 27, 2023
