Starting Wednesday 8/12, we'll be running our The Hobbit Red Book Sealed League, which will be played over six weeks on Wednesdays. Players should arrive around 5:30; the entry fee is $100, which gets you six packs of The Hobbit, plus a bonus pack every week for the remainder of the league.

You'll make note of the cards in your sealed pool as you open them; each week after the first, you'll receive a Bonus Pack at the start of each night's games to bolster your starting deck.

In addition, there will be bonus goodies given to all players on specific weeks, and players who play all the way until the end of the league will receive even more prizes - the more players in the league, the better the end-of-league prizes become. At the end of the league, prizes will be given out based on individual performance, as well as other prizes based on special achievements.

All match results will be tracked each week on a live spreadsheet. Players can play up to three League matches per week and receive points based on these matches; players will receive one League Point for participation per week, one point per match loss, and two points per match win. If players are unable to make their games on Wednesday, they can coordinate their games on another day as long as they do not exceed three League matches per week.
